FAQ
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. North Carolina is a Direct Access state, meaning that one can receive physical therapy evaluations and treatments without a doctor's referral.

What can I expect on my first visit?
A lot of questions! I want to know not just of your problem area but all the factors in your life that may be contributing to it.
A physical exam of your whole body, how you move.
If an internal exam is warranted I thoroughly review the process and it is ALWAYS optional and based on your consent and comfort level.

How long are the sessions? How many will I need?
Expect the session to be about an hour. The initial assessment can be longer, 60-90minutes.
Typical frequency is once a week, although that is determined in the initial assessment. Everyone differs in their response to therapy and so does their number of sessions. Some may need 6 sessions, while others benefit from 12. You will be updated continuously on your progress.
